Department/Unit Summary
SOVAH Danville’s Behavioral Health Unit is a 24-bed unit which provides services that treats mental health issues and promotes patient wellbeing. We have a team of staff Psychiatrists, Nurses, Counselors, Social Workers, Case Managers and Technicians that offer individual, group and family therapy. Additionally, we support this with medication therapy and other interventions. SOVAH Danville offers a supportive,safeand healing environment for recovery. Once discharged, we alsohave involvementfrom our community care partners, which help support a successful return to the home environment.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license andpossessa nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’sdegree preferred).Additionalrequirements include:
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support
* Experience in clinical area preferred
* American Heart Association ACLS within90 daysof hire
